    Sunday May 6, 2012 - Shoppers Emporium is looking for students to model prom dresses for the fashion show at the Home Show in Fenelon Falls. Contact Shelley or Sandy at the Shoppers Emporium (705) 887-1919.
    Sunday July 22nd Parks, Recreation & Culture is seeking responsible individuals to help out with the Lindsay Milk Run. The event 6:00am – 12pm. The race will start and finish at the Lindsay Recreation Complex. Volunteers will help assist with pre registration, food distribution, water stations, traffic control, as well as set up and take down. All volunteers will get community hours certificate, Milk Run t-shirt, ice cream and refreshments! Seeking people to fill positions on the many committees involved in organizing the large scale production of a LipDub video featuring Lindsay's many organizations, schools, businesses, celebrities and more.     Greenshire Eco Farms grows produce, following organic principles, in unusual permaculture garden beds; offers equine-assisted learning (facilitated non-riding experiential fun self-awareness development), natural horsemanship demonstrations and lessons (non-riding), pony rides, birthday parties; and alternative eco-building.

    Help wanted on Horse and Pony Farm - work with horses and ponies by grooming, riding and on certain dates, walking ponies at fairs (on weekends). Living close to Little Britain would be an asset. Some experience with horses would be appreciated, but not necesseary. Call Shirley - 705-786-2543. If not needing community hours, there is the opportunity to earn some money as well.
